Starvation Conflict During a Bus Tour in Lanzarote
A friend of mine told me about the following experience:
She was traveling alone for a week on the Canary Island of Lanzarote and enjoying her vacation. Lanzarote is famously known as the black volcanic island.
She booked a day trip by bus into the interior of the island. During the journey, she noticed that she was gradually becoming panicked. On a biological level, she sensed: “Nothing grows here! I would starve to death!”
Although she knew intellectually that the likelihood of her starving to death as a tourist on the island of Lanzarote was virtually zero, her body reacted to this biological sensation.
Why she reacted this way could be connected to earlier experiences or even past lives. However, we did not pursue this question any further.
Once again, this example made it unmistakably clear to me that what matters is not what we think, but what we feel.
