Case Report – Urinary Tract Infection After Sexual Intercourse

Gender & Age: female, 24 years

1. DHS – The Moment of the Conflict Shock

The patient, 24 years old, experienced a sense of violation immediately after sexual intercourse, as her partner made jokes about her and then turned over and fell asleep.

Biological conflict: “I cannot protect myself / my intimate space is violated.”

2. Conflict Content & SBS

•Conflict content: Threat to the bladder / violation of intimate control.

•Involved tissue: Bladder (endoderm, controlled by the brainstem).

•SBS in the CA phase: Cell proliferation in the bladder to strengthen it and increase protection against intrusion.

3. CA Phase (Conflict-Active Phase)

•Emotions: Anxiety, helplessness, shame, mild tension.

•Physical: Usually no pain during the active phase, but frequent urination and lower abdominal tension.

•Duration: A few hours.

4. Conflict Resolution (CL)

•Resolution: Emotional relief occurred when the woman packed her things and went home. She already felt a burning sensation in the urethra.

•The bladder can now regenerate during the healing phase.

5. PCL Phase (Healing Phase)

•Breakdown of the additional bladder cells, accompanied by inflammation.

•Symptoms: Painful urination, burning, occasionally cloudy urine, which appeared the next morning.

•Duration: 3 days.

6. Involved Tissue & Adaptation

•CA Phase: Cell proliferation → protective cushion for the bladder.

•PCL Phase: Breakdown, inflammation, pain → healing and normalization of bladder function.

7. 5BN Mechanisms

1.DHS triggers a specific SBS – here: bladder conflict after an intimate situation.

2.Psyche, brain, and organ react synchronously.

3. Endoderm reacts in the CA phase with cell proliferation, healing with inflammation and breakdown.

4.Bacteria (e.g., E. coli) support the breakdown process.

5.Biological purpose: The bladder is protected after a threat and can regenerate.

Additional note:

Since burning in the urethra began immediately, I would also strongly suspect the involvement of the ectodermal bladder mucosa (meaning that its intimate boundaries were crossed / not respected), as it becomes hypersensitive immediately after conflict resolution. The frequent urge to urinate also supports this, because due to the hypersensitivity, newly produced urine is sensed very quickly.

The symptoms mentioned (hypersensitivity, inflammation, pain when urinating, frequent urge to urinate) clearly indicate SBS of the ectodermal bladder mucosa in the PCL phase.
Only the occasional cloudy urine could be an indication of additional involvement of the endodermal mucosa.
