Conflict: While at a restaurant, the person I was with suddenly became unexpectedly loud.
The staff and all the other guests turned to look at us.Resolution:
By the end of the meeting, I knew that I wouldn’t be seeing this person again anytime soon.The following day, I noticed some slight pain in my left ear when inserting my headphones. A day later, it was much weaker or perhaps already gone.
I had experienced this symptom many times before, but in the past, I wasn’t familiar with the Germanic.
This time, the connection became clear to me for the first time, which is why I decided that, in future situations like this, I would remain calmer or, alternatively, express my displeasure directly.
Thank you for this nice everyday life report. The sudden loud noise in this unpleasant situation was likely perceived as a minor attack, as if something had suddenly flown into or against the ear from the side. The old-mesodermal dermis or sebaceous gland at this site reacts by producing additional cells. After the conflict is resolved, the tissue breaks down again and a pimple forms (usually with some pus as a byproduct of this breakdown).
