Beschreibung
In 2013, I (male) quit my job at the time due to burnout and exploitation.
Since I wanted to grow professionally, I switched to a different industry and started working at a small company.
It turned out that the work environment there was very chaotic and that negotiated agreements were repeatedly broken. So, little by little, I began to feel uneasy even on my commute to work and when interacting with my boss.
During this employment, a weeping rash developed on the outside of my right lower leg—I am right-handed.
Back then, not yet knowing about 5BN, I ran to several dermatologists and tried all sorts of ointments, including cortisone. The rash usually subsided, but as soon as I stopped using them, it came right back.
Since I wasn’t willing to undergo the surgical procedure that had been recommended to me, I stopped all attempts at treatment.
My job became increasingly stupid and chaotic until one day I pulled the plug, quit, and returned to my original profession.
And what can I tell you: after I quit, the rash completely cleared up within two weeks, without any medical treatment. And it never came back.
Today, with the knowledge of the 5BN, I know that this rash was a separation conflict in the sense of wanting to let go/not wanting to have/wanting to push something away, and that my job at the time was the cause.
Note from Björn Eybl
The skin is a very responsive area for the 5BN: The cause is usually easy to find, and if you address the right changes, things improve quickly.
The “weeping rash” indicates a lingering conflict waiting to be resolved. Without knowing the context, you did the right thing—or rather, “the right therapy”—you left.
Thanks for the interesting report, best regards, Björn
