Beschreibung
The man viewed a house in January of this year that was for sale. He “fell in love” with the house and informed the owner that he was interested in buying it. From that moment on, he became a potential buyer for the owner.
At that time, he had just entered a new relationship, and he wanted to purchase the house for his new partner. His plan was to buy the house, renovate it, and rent it to her for residential purposes. After the initial viewing, the two of them eagerly began making plans around this house, as she also “fell in love” with the idea of it. He himself did not plan to move in since he already owned property. In connection with his new relationship, this house represented a desired expansion of his territorial boundary.
At the end of April, he and the owner arranged a second viewing. During this appointment, the two men reached an agreement about the sale. The owner gave him a verbal commitment that he would sell the house to him and not to any of the other interested buyers. Two neighbors who happened to be present were practically witnesses to this verbal agreement. At that time, he had already scheduled a meeting with his bank regarding the financing of the purchase. With the owner’s verbal commitment, he considered the house as his from that point on. He felt he had prevailed over the other potential buyers.
One day later, he noticed a pressure sensation in the perineum for the first time, which made him call me to schedule an appointment.
Five days later, he came to see me. His complaints: a foreign-body sensation in the perineum with constant urge to defecate. When sitting, it felt as if he were sitting on a ball. No complaints with bowel movements, urination, or sexual activity. No pain. Suspected diagnosis: blocked prostatic ducts due to inflammatory swelling (pcl-A).
We applied EFT, which noticeably reduced the pressure in perineum and rectum. In the EFT rounds, his fears and worries about the symptom were at the forefront. I told him that if our assessment was correct, the pressure sensation should disappear in about two weeks. I also advised him to continue using EFT on his own as needed until the next appointment.
Almost exactly three weeks after the initial onset of symptoms, he returned for a follow-up: no more foreign-body sensation, and only rarely he felt a very slight pressure in the perineum when sitting (possibly a small local recurrence related to the original symptom). The constant urge to defecate had completely disappeared.
We applied EFT again to transform the remaining fears and worries connected to this “mini-symptom.” Since then, he has been doing well, and the symptom has not returned.
What had happened? According to Dr. Hamer, the ducts of the prostate (ectoderm) respond to territorial marking conflicts with a sexual aspect. With the first house viewing, this man apparently experienced such a conflict and reacted in the conflict-active (ca) phase without symptoms, with cell loss in the ectodermal mucosa of the prostatic ducts. After the second viewing three months later, when the seller committed to selling him the house, the ectoderm of the ducts began to swell (pcl-A), leading to their blockage. He had “won the race” against the other potential buyers and was now able to expand his territorial boundary in favor of his new relationship.
Because the ducts were swollen shut, prostate fluid backed up into the prostate. The prostate became tense and firm and was therefore perceived as a foreign body. Additionally, the large intestine reacted with an urge to defecate because the swollen prostate pressed against it and was mistakenly interpreted by the intestine as stool ready for evacuation.
Since fear around a symptom always intensifies the symptom (and can even trigger secondary conflicts), it was important to transform these fears through EFT, which quickly improved his symptoms. Full resolution, however, could only occur after the pcl-A phase had completed and the ectodermal tissue of the prostatic ducts had fully repaired—which is exactly what happened.
