Beschreibung
For about 15 years I had chronic pain in my lumbar spine with many, I call them “capital failures”, where I couldn't bend down, couldn't get into the car, needed my husband to get dressed; my spine twisted at the minute, like the “Hunchback of Notredam”.
Thanks to my good masseur, I was always able to return to work soon after being “repaired”. This was preceded by a very long period of bullying by a narcissistic colleague who had been there since I started working for the company.
After a massive slipped disc in my cervical spine, I wondered whether I would be able to continue working in nursing until retirement age.
When I then - and this is the fascinating thing - wrote down the working conditions in order to pass them on later to the relevant authorities, my chronic pain in the lumbar spine area disappeared at the drop of a hat, despite several slipped vertebrae.
This pleasant condition continues to this day, 1 3/4 years later.
My conclusion from this is not to wait until the body speaks, but to recognize and live what is mine, even if there are only a few years left until retirement.
If we recognize and accept the connections, even years of chronic pain can disappear at the drop of a hat.
I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you for the interesting experience report.
A chronic devaluation conflict because you carried the grief alone. Moving from passive suffering to action - “Now I'll write to them about how I feel/how things are going here ...” - was the solution.
