Beschreibung
The now 60-year-old woman had suffered for 12 years from severe headaches, interrupted only by brief periods of being pain-free. In conventional medicine, she had tried pretty much everything there is during that time, but none of it brought any real relief. The pain came, on the one hand, from the neck and pulled across the head, and at the same time it also occurred in the area of the cheekbones and behind the eyes. The description pointed very clearly to an SBS of the cervical spine and the trigeminal nerve. So, in the period before the first occurrence, she must have suffered a moral/intellectual self-devaluation conflict and a separation conflict. She apparently resolved these two conflicts 12 years ago, but due to short-cycle tracks the SBS has to keep being restarted again and again, so that she only very rarely comes out of healing, and then only briefly.
In conversation it turned out that her husband confessed to her about 13 years ago that he was having an affair with another woman, 15 years younger. She was completely shocked. She knew this woman and thought, "She's so young, I can't compete with her", which apparently led to her moral (= injustice) self-devaluation conflict. Furthermore, from that point on at the latest, they lived as if separated, and divorce was on the table (separation conflict). This state lasted almost a year, until her husband remorsefully announced that his lover had ended the relationship and was moving to another city. For her, that was the resolution, and the first headache attack occurred. Today she is still together with her husband, and they again have a good relationship, but the trust was lost. Every time her husband sits at the computer in the evening, goes to another room to make a phone call, or is away on a business trip for a few days, etc., the memories come back up, and she fears a repetition of the situation from back then. In this way, a great many frequently occurring tracks arose for her, which led to an almost permanently present headache.
What to do? She approached the matter on two levels. She had an intensive conversation with her husband, in which she explained the situation to him, and they agreed on certain "rules of conduct" (no "secret" phone calls, ...) that gave her a sense of security. And furthermore, she made it clear to herself that the affair has long been over, that her husband did in the end stay with her, and that he loves her.
Just a few days later she had her last severe headache attack. In the following weeks she was not permanently completely pain-free. One or another small twinge of pain followed, but after all those years, this was a great liberation.
