Last month we had a homeowners' association meeting. I was on high alert because of various issues and geared toward "attack/defense", nervous all day about what might come up (but nothing came up at all, 🙈😂)
In any case, from the morning until the meeting in the afternoon I had constant hypoglycemia! I had to keep eating sweets. Only sugar helped, nothing else helped. I was shaky and weak.
After the meeting, the craving for sugar disappeared just as suddenly.
So I had held back my sugar for the anticipated "fight", so as to then have full strength!
In other words, the SBS of the ectodermal alpha cells of the islets of Langerhans was active. Due to the reduction in function during the active phase, glucagon was reduced, so that less/no sugar came from the liver into the blood anymore, which led to the severe hypoglycemia before the meeting!
